Terpene Profiles Explained

Bisabolol

With its refreshing and soothing properties bisabolol will sometimes provide a sensory experience depending on the strain, along with providing relief from stress with its anti inflammatory benefits. Its often used in skin care to provide clarity or ingested or inhaled to provide focus without the jitters.

Caryophyllene

Highlighted by spicy peppery notes, found in oregano basil and rosemary. It acts as an anti-inflammatory with receptors that are found in the immunity system. Often found in topicals to soothe minor aches while being helpful in easing symptoms of depression.

Linalool

This terpene is the cause of the smell of cannabis, it's spicy floral notes vary from strain to strain. It is also found in lavender, cinnamon, mint and coriander and it is often an uplifting yet soothing experience. Often in found in cancer treatment plans along with the treatment for arthritis, depression, seizures and insomnia.



Myrcene

This earthy aroma terpene offers up rich scents like clove or hints of fruit and citrus depending on the strain. It is a connector between all the various terpenes and acts as a glue for all terpenes to work at the highest potential within the cannabinoid system.
